I look forward to making these Dried Orange Slices every holiday season. They smell amazing and add a vibrant whimsical touch to my holiday decorating. I also love how versatile they are. You can string them on a garland, tie them on presents, or even just toss them in a bowl for homemade potpourri!
Dried Orange Slices
- Oranges or Grapefruit
- Sharp Knife
- An Oven
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
Line your pan(s) with parchment paper or a silicon slip mat. This will make cleanup a breeze!
Slice oranges into ~1/4″ slices. The thinner your slices the quicker they’ll dry and vice versa for thicker slices.
Place oranges in a single layer on your prepared pan to ensure they dry evenly.
Bake for up to 6 hours or until completely dry. I cut my slices thicker this year so mine took 4-6 hours.
Flip slices over periodically as you bake them, every hour or two.
